The Mushroom King Metropolis

What is Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros. is the first launch of the Mario series. Being thrown in straight into a world of plants, mushrooms and turtles seems a bit crazy, but with the trusty helping of your nes controller it really becomes an amazing game. Jumping puzzles and underground and over cloud levels.

Plot/Story
The princess is kidnapped from Bowser and this is the first time anything in this time has occured, a new enemy. Saving Toads along the way they say "Sorry your princess is in another castle" really irritates you through 8 whole worlds in the game. At the end, you keep Bowser in the Lava and rescue the princess. The first time you see princess toadstool.

Gameplay
The Gampleay for a NES game is great, good control and does what it says on the tin, I have nothing to say but, Bravo.

Power - Ups

Starman - Makes Mario invincible for a period of time

Fire flower - Makes Mario able to fire fire balls at enemys

Mushroom - Makes Mario have the ability to take at least one hit.

Summary
Truly an amazing game, all parents who are a Mario fan and want there kids to play a classic great game. Pick this one, it has great...everything I can't find a better Mario game to choose. It does have it's flaws I admit, but besides that, truly an amazing game.
